I went to Croatia in May 2017 and spent 5 weeks there. I had the pleasure of having my first Workaway experience at a hostel in Split.
The hostel I volunteered at sent me to the beautiful party island of Hvar and I was able to explore the magic of it.
Later I nannied for a Croatian family on the island of Vis. Took a trip to Brač island to do an overnight trek and visited Dubrovnik to see the iconic medieval city.
My time in Croatia was full of beauty, good vibes and an eye opening experience on what it meant to volunteer and living abroad.
